Energy Australia required a solution to safely dredge its HDPE lined clean-water pond without taking it offline or creating turbidity.
THE CHALLENGE
Developing a robotic solution capable of safely dredging the asset, without turbidity, while it remained fully operational to prevent a station outage.
OUR SOLUTION
We designed, built and executed an online robotic dredging solution that adapted to the changing conditions and safely cleaned the pond back to the bare liner without any turbidity or impact on operational requirements.
The Dredge Robotics team displayed a highly professional approach with excellent safety systems and a genuine concern for the results. After they cleaned the pond, we were able to conduct a sub-surface liner inspection for the first time. We’re very happy with the results and plan to utilise Dredge Robotics again for future works.
